Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to rent a therapy office at Therapy Collective?
Rooms are $20 per hour, and you only pay for the time you book. If you see clients regularly, a 10-session package brings the rate down to $18 per session. There are no leases, no monthly minimums, and no hidden fees.
Can I rent a therapy room by the hour?
Yes. Hourly is the most flexible option and works well for occasional in-person sessions, newer clinicians, or a hybrid caseload. You can book a single hour or several, and reserve ahead of time or on short notice when rooms are open.
What booking options do you offer?
You can book hourly, by the half day, by the full day, or across multiple days. Pick whatever matches how you actually work that week. Nothing is fixed, so you can adjust as your schedule changes.
Is there a lease or long-term contract?
No. There is no lease, no long-term contract, and no set number of days you have to commit to. You add in-person hours at your own pace and scale back whenever you need to.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The rate you see covers the room and everything that comes with it. There are no setup costs, utility charges, or minimum commitments.
How do I get started?
The easiest way is to reach out through the contact form on the site. Let us know your role, whether you want hourly or multi-day space, and the days that tend to work for you. You can also ask for a tour, and we will follow up with availability and next steps.
What is included when I book a room?
Every booking gives you a private, fully furnished therapy room, comfortable furniture suited to clinical work, clean shared areas, and secure access during your booked time. Utilities and upkeep are handled for you, so there is nothing to set up when you arrive.
Are the rooms furnished?
Yes. Every room comes fully furnished and ready for sessions, with comfortable seating and a calm, professional feel for you and your clients.
Are the rooms private and quiet enough for sessions?
Yes. The rooms are private and quiet, with soundproofing built in as standard to support confidential, HIPAA-compliant sessions. They are made for real clinical work, not converted from a general office.
Will I be sharing my room with another therapist?
No. The room you book is yours for your session. You will share common areas with other clinicians in the collective, which is part of what makes it feel like a community rather than an empty rental.
Where is Therapy Collective located?
We are at 1625 South Street in Center City Philadelphia, PA 19146. It is a walkable, central spot with coffee shops and local businesses right around the corner.
Is there parking, and how do clients get there?
Yes. There is metered street parking nearby, and the location is close to several bus and train routes, so it is easy to reach whether you or your clients drive or take transit.
Who can rent space here?
The space is for licensed mental health professionals, including social workers, therapists, counselors, and psychologists. Group practices looking for a city location are welcome too.
Can I see the space before I book?
Yes, and we recommend it. A tour lets you walk through the rooms, get a feel for the space, and ask about availability before you decide. There is no obligation to book afterward.
Is this a good fit if I am moving from telehealth to in-person work?
Yes. A lot of our clinicians use the space to start seeing clients in person without taking on a lease. It is a low-risk way to test in-person demand while keeping part of your practice virtual.
Can a group practice use this as a second location?
Yes. Group and suburban practices rent with us to offer in-person sessions in the city without opening a whole new office or signing a long-term lease before the caseload is there.
Is there a professional community, or do people mostly keep to themselves?
You keep full independence and run your own practice, but you are around other clinicians who understand the work. Many members find that leads to referrals and peer support over time.
